Description: The S-7 Towers feature a rotating base to allow the best angle to suit the listener. By gradually rotating the speaker on the base it is easy to find the best position for improved stereo imaging. The speaker rotates on a roller bearing that can be tightened by a threaded thumbscrew on the underside of the base. This user adjustment allows how free or resistive the speaker can rotate. The S7 uses 3 woofers, the top one producing mid-range and bass. This alignment known as a 2.5 way gives a smoother transition from low to high frequencies making the speaker sound seamless and natural. The vent loading is computer optimized to give greater bass output with improved power handling since the vent alignment actually reduces cone excursion on bass notes and therefore distortion.
