We was receive many complaint about an Internet cheater Amir Yaakob which located at Johor, He always sell fake cables, the admin was bent his posting permission for long long time but seems he is always changing his log in IP, we thought every hifi friends in Malaysia have the rights to know this issue, that's why we come out this memo to inform all our HIFI friends,. Belows is an complaint e-mail send by Mr. Wan, Please take note :-

Dear sir,

I am Wan Weng Yeap from Sarawak. Months ago i know this guy Amir Bin Yaakob ph. 0136493610 through his post 1, Lenco tt with Mission arm and 2, Rega Planar tt too.

The purchase of this 2 items was not successful and we end up knowing each other because i am into Lenco tt. Even asked me to teach him this and that.

Last Saturday he introduce me an interconnect, ( Kimble Kable Kcag) at RM360. I closed the deal by banking in RM250 on this mid Wednesday and balance up when stock arrive.

After that I msg him on thursday, no reply. Call him on thursday nite until now, the phone was off. Before that every time i call surely his phone will switch on. I think i am cheated.

Any help here? I have the bank in slip, and all the msg for this transaction. RM250 is not big issue but he happen to be so irresponsible.

The SFS-80 is Sonic Frontiers' top of the line tube stereo amplifier. A rather hefty unit, it is built like a tank and is likely to last like one. From its thick brushed stainless steel chassis and transformer top covers, State of the Art passive parts quality (MIT MultiCap, Vishay, Holco, Cardas and Edison-Price parts), 66 lbs weight, and massive transformers, one gets the accumulated impression that this company builds serious audio equipment of industrial grade quality.

An 80 watt vacuum tube stereo amplifier featuring a regulated pentode output stage, the SFS-80 is said to also utilize a multi-secondary output transformer. Twin 6DJ8 tubes comprise the input and driver stage. A front panel bias meter is provided along with externally mounted adjustment controls. This user friendly feature along with the instructions in the owner manual allows even an amateur to bias this amp. I wish more tube amp manufacturers offered this feature. I believe this will attract new tube amp ownership.

An open chassis design with metal cage as a safety implement, the SFS-80 is factory supplied with matched KT99's or KT88's depending upon the version. One may also use 6550/6550A, KT90 types, or EL34/6CA7 though the latter will reduce the available output by about 50% to 40 watts.


The amp comes with a detachable power cord, a boon for those who prefer to upgrade this later on.
